What is Christianity Explored?
Christianity Explored is an informal course, based on Mark’s gospel, for people who'd like to investigate Christianity. In just ten sessions, it enables you to discover who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.
Who is it for?
Whether you’ve been coming to church for many years, or are a convinced atheist – this course is for you if you’d like to take some time out to explore the heart of Christianity and make up your mind what you really think. Alternatively you may simply relish the prospect of looking in detail at what Mark has to say about Jesus.
What can I expect?
• If you come for the first session, and decide it’s not for you, then that’s fine.
• You won’t be asked to pray, sing, read aloud, or do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.
• You can ask any question you like.
• Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.
When does it run?
Each year we aim to run a number of daytime and evening courses, which typically last for 75 minutes. Please contact us and we’ll tell you when the next course starts.
