Knit-Wits
"Knit-Wits" meet every Monday afternoon, during term
time, in Room 2 at St. Peters' Church (2 o'clock until 4 o'clock),
we are a small but friendly group of folks who enjoy a chat while
producing craft items for various charities.
There is no need to worry about perfection in your work, just enthusiasm
and a penchant for a cuppa and a biscuit which is essential to every
get-together.
We are constantly sewing, knitting and crocheting items such as
Easter chicks, T-shaped sweaters, teddy bears, hat, mittens, scarves,
clowns and small toy bags.
We have all sorts of bits and bobs available for everyone to use
and always welcome extra material, wool, patterns but most of all
new members!
Do come along, even if you can only spare 1/2 an hour for a cuppa
and to collect a pattern and wool.
Hope to see you anytime.
