The Monday Group
Ladies, why not join our group, which meets in St Peter's
Room 2 on the Monday of the month at 7.45pm. We are a happy group,
enjoying a varied and interesting programme of talks, slides and demonstrations,
and assure you of a warm welcome.
Keep Fit / Aerobics
St Peter's Church Hall, Mondays 7-8pm with a qualified instructor.
Mats are provided. Just turn up.
Westlands Badminton Club meets each Wednesday
night in St Peter's Church Hall. At the moment the club is full and does not require any new members.
Thursday Mums and Toddlers meet in St Peter's
Church hall from 10-11.30am, for ages 0 to 4. Coffee, juice and
biscuits provided. There is a range of activities, a quiet room
for babies, the main hall for bikes, slides, playhouse, Lego and
singing and an art room with supervised painting, gluing, playdoh
and drawing.
Newcastle under Lyme Kung Fu and Kick Boxing takes
place at St Peter's. Our aim is to teach children and adults to
defend themselves against everyday situations.
We hope to build confidence and to keep you fit in a safe friendly
environment.
The times for our lessons are:-
Wednesday 5 - 6pm graded children
6 - 7pm beginners children
6 - 7pm adults

Newcastle Ladies Choir meet at St Peter's on Monday
afternoon 2 - 4pm. New members welcome.
Etruria Wind Band requires players, woodwind and
brass. Age anywhere from teenage to retired.
If you are bored with playing on your own, why not come along and
play with members of a friendly band?

The UK's leading physical play programme for children aged between
6 months and 7 years is now able to take names for our weekly classes
starting in September. (Saturday classes available at St Peter's).
Through structured play we teach, balance, agility, climbing, co-ordination
and much more. Places are limited so please book early to avoid
disappointment.

Clayton Bridge Club
Any new members wishing to play bridge on Tuesday evenings 7.00pm
at St Peter's Church Hall would be welcome.
Pottries Postcard Society - Formed 1983
Meetings held fourth Tuesday of each month - 7.30pm - September
to May at St Peter's. £7.50 per season or £1 on the
night including refreshments.
Our meetings are quite informal, some meetings involve members
giving brief talks about their postcards, others including guest
speakers.
Postcards provide a wonderful insight into the social history of
people and places during the 20th century.
Why not come along to one of our meetings, you will be most welcome?
Knit-Wits is a small but very welcoming, friendly
group. We meet each Monday afternoon (during term time) in Room
2 of St Peter's Church between 2.00 and 4.00 pm. Our aim is to knit,
sew or crochet for many charitable activities such as Operation
Christmas Child. There is no demand for perfection in your work,
just enthusiasm, a sense of humour and a talent for drinking tea
and chatting. Come and join us, everyone is most welcome.
Seabridge Wind Band is a friendly orchestra, which
meets at St Peter's on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30pm.
Ceramic City Choir
The choir meets in St Peter's Hall every Tuesday evening during
school term times from 7.00 - 9.15pm. It has proved to be an ideal
rehearsal venue for the choir with its excellent grand piano and
plenty of room for 120 choristers.
The choir specialises in singing the major works of the choral
repertoire.If you are interested in singing with the choir please
get in touch. New members always welcome.
Karate Coaching
The Shin Ki Kai karate club meets on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm
in St Andrew's Church Hall. Coaching is available for all levels
of ability. Grades/belts are recognised world-wide with "International
Martial Arts Federation". New members very welcome.
St Andrews's Parents / Carers Groups
runs on Tuesdays from 9.15 - 11.15am and from 1.30-3.00pm. They
are open to all children, from young babies to school age. It's
a great way for children of all ages to mix, play and learn with
other children. It also gives Mums the chance to meet and talk to
each other. Most importantly, the children have a safe supervised
place in which to play.
The Friendship Club is a happy and friendly meeting
of senior citizens who meet on the first and third Thursday afternoons
to enjoy a variety of talks, slide shows, musical items etc, followed
by a cup of tea and a piece of cake. We meet at 2.30pm in one of
the Church Halls.
Women's Fellowship
A small group of ladies meeting monthly on the third Wednesday at
2.30pm Room 2 at St Peter's We offer friendship, love and care.
We commence with a devotional period and end with a cup of tea and
a chat. A varied programme is arranged. We are very pleased to welcome
new members. Don't be lonely. Come and join us.
Stoke-On-Trent & District Welsh Society
Bilingual - Meetings in Welsh and English meets six times a year
in St Peter's.
Soroptimist International of Newcastle & District
Soroptimist International is a world wide non-political organisation
for business and professional women, working through service projects
both locally and internationally to advance human rights and the
status of women. Our organisation is a member of the United Nations,
and works with other non-governmental organisations.
