Baptisms

If you would like to arrange a baptism please come to one of our services and ask for a baptism enquiry form. Once this simple form has been completed, one of the Ministers will be in touch to make further arrangements.

Three times a year we send invitations to children who have been baptised to come along and bring their carers with them to specially organised events. These happen at Christmas, Mothering Sunday and in the Summer when a teddy bears' picnic is held. Small children may also like to attend the monthly Little Sunbeams which is a relaxed and fun service for very small children and their carers.

We are always pleased to welcome adults who may wish to discuss being baptised themselves.

More information about Baptism for adults and children can be found on the Church of England and Methodist Church web sites.

Funerals

Please do not hesitate to speak to one of the Ministers if you need to make arrangements for a funeral. Rev. Gerald Gardiner (01782) 619594 , or Rev. Robert Fisher (01782) 638805.

We would like to offer our support to you at this difficult time. Members of our Bereavement Care Group group visit the next of kin of those whose funerals have taken place at either of the 2 churches.

You may also wish to make a request for prayers.

For those who Mourn
O Lord Jesus Christ,
look with compassion on all who are grieving.
In their sorrow may they always know
the comfort of your presence.
May they be filled with the courage they need
to face each new day,
and may your peace be with them,
O Lord, now and always.
